This is a site I set up so that I could help some of my buddies get started in Zen. That didn’t seem to happen so I guess I’ll just make this a blog about my practice. That way I don’t bug people looking at my other blogs.

I am studying Soto Zen in the lineage of Masters Eihei Dogen and Gudo Wafu Nishijima at Treeleaf Zendo.Treeleaf was designed specifically as an online practice place for Zen practitioners who cannot easily commute to a Zen Center due to health concerns, living in remote areas, or work, childcare and family needs, and seeks to provide Zazen sittings, retreats, discussion, interaction with a teacher, and all other activities of a Zen Buddhist Sangha, all fully online.

If you would like to hop into the discussion please do. Not everyone’s comments will make the site (I’m really not sure how I will deal with all that to be honest) but if you don’t make it on the site I will respond to you in email.

Or if you’d like you can pester me elsewhere on the internetz
